This is a research group led by Dr. Safira Candra Asih, an assistant professor at Universitas Indonesia. We engineer microbial cell factories and bioprocess systems for the sustainable production of high-value bioproducts across food, biomaterials, and diagnostic applications.

Our work integrates microbiology, fermentation engineering, and translational biotechnology to develop adaptable microbial platforms that bridge fundamental research and real-world implementation.
