The principal investigator, Dr. Safira Candra Asih, is doing post-doctoral fellow activity from October to November 2025, at the Prof. Kyeong Rok Choi’s laboratory (BiGCATS Lab) at Graduate School of Green Growth and Sustainability (GGGS), KAIST.

The research topic is Establishing Microbial Food Platform for Sustainable Production of Nutritious and Functional Food Resources toward Human and Planetary Health

Safira Lab is successfully secured a collaboration research grant NUS Fellows Program by National University of Singapore (NUS) for a research project: Rapid Diagnostic Platform for Plant Health Diagnostic. 

This research will be under collaboration with Asst. Prof. Tedrick Thomas Salim Lew from the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, NUS, and NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI).

Safira Lab is successfully secured a fellowship research grant from PrimeStep Program by Universitas Indonesia and Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Republic of Indonesia for a research project: Establishing Microbial Food Platform for Sustainable Production of Nutritious and Functional Food Resources toward Human and Planetary Health. 

This research is a collaboration project with Asst. Prof. Kyeong Rok Choi from KAIST, South Korea.

Safira Lab is successfully secured a research grant from PUTI Q1 by Universitas Indonesia for a research project: Microbial Hyaluronic Acid and Fish-based Collagen for Wound Healing. 

This research is a collaboration project with Lina Dong, Ph.D.- a researcher from Zhejiang University, School of Medicine, China.
